The Wi-Fi Ceiling Motion & Light Sensor is an intelligent 2-in-1 sensor that combines 360° PIR motion detection with ambient-light monitoring. Compatible Smart Life devices respond automatically to both movement and surrounding brightness — no gateway or hub required.
Connect directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and use it to switch lights on when movement is detected, turn them off when a room is unoccupied, activate security scenes, or receive real-time motion alerts on your smartphone.
Its compact ceiling-mounted design delivers wide detection coverage, making it ideal for homes, apartments, villas, offices, hotels, corridors, staircases, bathrooms, entrances and storage areas.

Power Options
The sensor operates on two AAA/LR03 batteries or a compatible 5V USB power supply. Use only one power method at a time. Battery life depends on Wi-Fi signal strength, daily motion events, notification settings and automation activity.

Installation Notes
Install on the ceiling for the widest 360° detection coverage. Avoid placing near air conditioners, heaters, moving curtains, strong sunlight or other rapidly changing heat sources, as these may cause false motion detection. A stable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection is required — the device does not support 5 GHz-only networks.
Important Information
- Detects movement and surrounding light levels only — does not include a built-in room light or siren.
- Compatible Smart Life lights, switches, alarms and other devices are sold separately.
- Automation availability depends on the Smart Life app and connected device functions.
- Indoor installation recommended unless the location is fully protected from water and moisture.
